My focus for consultancy work in the creative industries centres on German culture and history. When you are putting together a project that explores narratives set within specific cultural contexts, you will want to engage someone who can research and advise you on potential challenges with authentic representation. With a PhD in German and Cultural Studies (Berlin and London), I am a specialist on German Cultural sensitivity. I have experience of working to wide range of briefs as well as a range of different forms of cultural production (including digital games, film and theatre). I take a research-based approach to address client needs and offer tailored solutions centred on cultural competency. I also consult on cultural sensitivity and identity (including LGBTQ+) more generally.

- Dramaturgical, script work and pogramme notes for theatrical and radio productions.

In Germany I have worked as Assistant Director/Dramaturg and in the UK as a producer and arts admin on various theatre productions, musicals and performing arts projects. I have also been writing feature and reviews for local and regional newspapers in Germany, both in English and German since 2002, including publications such as OneStopArts, Exeunt Magazine, The List and The Stage.
